About this tour

-What you can expect-
Enjoy a half-day guided tour of Murano and Burano with transportation and a visit to a glass factory.

Depart from Venice train station or Piazza San Marco, and reach Murano. Visit a typical glass factory and see a glass-making demonstration. Then enjoy 1 hour of free time to discover the island. Depart to Burano, famous for its colorful houses and handmade laces. Explore the island for 1 hour before going back.

From the Venice Santa Lucia railway station, continue right along the embankment in the direction of the Piazzale Roma bus terminal, and before crossing the Calatrava bridge (the glass one), turn right.   • Know in advance:Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time
  • Take your voucher with you (printed or electronic) and show it to the assistant at the meeting point in order to be allowed on board
  • In particular weather conditions (for example in case of fog) or adverse weather conditions, the service may not be regular and the tour may be suspended
  • The boat will depart promptly at the end of each stop, so make sure to take note of the times communicated on board and be ready to depart on time
  • If you start from the train station in the morning, you will go back to San Marco at about 3.30pm and you'll have 2 hours of free time to enjoy the center of Venice. At 5.30pm a shuttle will take you back to the train station
  • Please note that on certain days between April 18, 2025, and July 27, 2025, every visitor to Venice is required to pay, directly to the Municipality of Venice, an access fee, except for specific exemptions.
