Beyond Glenorchy, venture into Paradise and enter Mt Aspiring National Park to explore the renowned Routeburn Track. Cross the swing bridge and immerse yourself in a spectacular Beech Forest, where you can spot rare endemic birds like the Mohua (yellowhead), native bush robin, and NZ’s smallest native bird, the rifleman. Follow the Routeburn River as it flows through a magnificent gorge, surrounded by a magical world of ferns, mosses, lichens, and ancient beech forest.
