Total Duration: 4 days
Day 1: Mount Rushmore National Memorial Park, Crazy Horse Memorial
- Pick up at the hotel(s) in Denver. Pick-up time and meeting place details will be informed after your booking is confirmed.
- We will depart from Denver, Colorado for our first stop, the Crazy Horse Monument. We will drive for about 6.5 hours, including rest stops, through Colorado, Wyoming, and South Dakota to our destination. Enjoy views of the vast pastures of the western United States.
- We will take a bus tour to the foot of the statue. More than 70 years have passed since construction began in 1948, and although it is still unfinished, you can get a close look at this statue, which will be the largest in the world when completed. Learn about the history and culture of the indigenous people.
- After arriving at the statues of the four most famous presidents in the history of the United States, take a photo at the observatory. Afterward, take a 30-minute walk along the boardwalk where you can see the faces of the presidents from all angles. A visit to the museum will give you a real sense of the difficulties of working on the sculptures back then.
- Arrive and check in at a hotel in Sundance. Experience a quiet country town with a sense of good old American history and culture.
Day 2: Devils Tower National Monument, Yellowstone National Park
- It was designated as the first national monument in the United States in 1906. After taking pictures from afar, take a walk on the trail that circles the base of the tower. Not only can you enjoy the view from various angles, but you may also see wildlife and rock climbers. The unique vertical cracks called columnar joints are also worth a look!
- After arriving in Yellowstone, we will visit Mammoth Hot Springs, located by the north entrance. We will stroll along the boardwalk from the upper terrace to the lower terrace, and the main attraction here, Palette Spring (a huge decorative cake-shaped lime shelf), is a beautiful sight.
- Arrive and check in at a hotel in Gardiner, Montana. Gardiner is located about five minutes from the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park, where the town looks like something out of a Western movie.
Day 3: Yellowstone National Park
- On the third day of the tour, you will have a full day to enjoy Yellowstone National Park. First, arrive at Midway Geyser Basin, where the park’s iconic Grand Prismatic Spring is the largest hydrothermal Springs in the United States. Then, walk on the trail for about an hour round trip. View all the colors of the Great Prismatic Springs from a viewing platform to see the impressive, unparalleled beauty!
- We will take you to the world-famous geyser “Old Faithful Geyser” in the Upper Geyser Basin. You will then have about 2.5 hours of free time here. See the beautifully sparkling Morning Glory Pool and various other geysers and hot springs scattered throughout the area.
- Visit the “West Thumb Geyser Basin” on the shores of Yellowstone Lake, which is over 2000 meters above sea level. The hot spring water flows out and pours into the lake.
- We will take you to the “Mud Volcano”. The mud volcano is a wild natural phenomenon that smells of sulfur, so enjoy this interesting experience.
- We will arrive at the “Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone” in Canyon Country. This is a majestic 300-meter-deep canyon created by the Yellowstone River over tens of thousands of years. You can see the magnificent canyon and its spectacular waterfalls across the river from both the north and south walls. Feel the power of beautiful nature from the Lower Falls, Upper Falls, and Artist Point.
- Tower Falls is a waterfall that cascades down from a series of surrounding pinnacles of rock created by volcanic activity. It’s a sight to behold.
Day 4: Grand Teton National Park
- From the north entrance, we will take you through Yellowstone National Park to the last sightseeing spot, “Grand Teton National Park”. On the route from north to south down through the park, we will take you to a popular photo spot where you can see the beautiful scenery of the Teton Range (part of the 64 km long North American Rocky Mountains, with the highest peak being the 4197m Grand Teton Mountain)!
- Have a lunch break and shop in Jackson Hole, a resort tourist destination, for about 90 minutes. Then, we will depart for our final destination, Salt Lake City, the capital of Utah. Pass through Idaho on the way, and travel for about five hours with a break.
- Arrive in Salt Lake City, and drop off at your hotel in the downtown area around 6:00 pm
