Walk along the pedestrian trail on the dam, overlooking the picturesque lake, and embrace the beauty of the valley.
  • Nitori Sightseeing Orchard (Plan A only)

  • Tanaka Sake Brewery (Plan B only)
Established in 1899 in Otaru, the Tanaka Sake Brewer uses 100% Hokkaido-farmed rice and subterranean water melted from the snow on Tenguyama in the brewing process. With Hokkaido’s cool weather, this is a rare brewery that can produce sake all year round. The brewery’s stone warehouse is designated “historic architecture” in Otaru. Due to its small production, the sake can only be produced and sold here. Come for a tour to learn about sake production and sample Japanese sake!  (Note: In case of closure or full capacity, the stay time at Hōheikyō Dam and Otaru Canal will be extended)
  • Otaru Canal
