• Kushimoto Marine Park Aquarium

Kushimoto Marine Park was Japan’s first marine park to be designated as a Marine Park Zone in July 1970. At the Kushimoto Marine Park Aquarium, you can see about 5,000 creatures from 500 different species that live in Kushimoto’s sea. There, you can enjoy beautiful underwater scenery all year round, including colorful tropical fish and the largest community of table coral in Honshu, which is also said to be the coral at the highest northern point in the world.

In addition, the aquarium serves as a learning place for observing creatures at outdoor facilities, such as the Underwater Observatory Tower and the Underwater Sightseeing Boat. Get to know the names, shapes, and faces of the creatures in the aquarium and see how they live in the wild for yourself.
