This is a self-guided tour — we’ll provide the necessary tickets and a recommended itinerary, but you’re free to explore on your own way.

Day 1: DAY 1 – Arrival in Lucerne 

Individual travel by train to Lucerne. With its beautiful lakeside setting and easy access to nearby mountain excursions, Lucerne is a favourite destination for many travellers. Overnight in Lucerne.

Day 2: Gotthard Panorama Express 

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a scenic cruise across Lake Lucerne (Luzern → Flüelen) before travelling along the historic Gotthard Route from central Switzerland to the Mediterranean-inspired south. Overnight in Lugano (Flüelen → Lugano).

DAY 3 – DAY 3 – Departure from Lugano to airport, Swiss border, or your next destination.

Breakfast at the hotel. Individual return journey to your chosen end point in Switzerland.
