• Zao Okama (蔵王の御釡)

Zao Okama is located in Miyagi Prefecture. It is a volcanic lake on the border of Zao Town and Kawasaki Town. It has an elevation of about 1,670 meters, an area of about 1 km, and a water depth of about 30 meters. It is the highest elevation in the center of the Zao Mountains. Zao Okama is so named named because it is surrounded by the three peaks of Mt. Katsuta-dake (刈田岳), Mt. Kumano-dake (熊野岳), and Mt.
