— Itinerary —

• 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM:
  – For the package that includes pick-up: Pick-up at the entrance of Payap University PIH Student Dormitory (Map), where the adventure begins!
  – For the package without pick-up: Please meet at The CAD Cultural Center Lanna Ethnicity (Map)
• 2:00 PM: Ticket inspection – get ready for a memorable experience ahead!
• 3:30 PM: The Lantern Festival Celebration officially kicks off with the vibrant Lanna Parade, a dazzling display of culture and color
• 5:00 PM: Explore the Handicraft Bazaar, where local artisans showcase their crafts, and indulge in a delightful array of authentic food tastings
• 7:30 PM: Be mesmerized by traditional dance performances, martial arts displays, and the haunting melodies of classical Thai musical instruments
• 8:00 PM: The Sky Lantern Ceremony begins as monks chant blessings. Take part in a peaceful moment of meditation and reflection under the night sky
• 8:45 PM: The magical moment arrives – lighting of the lanterns, filling the sky with glowing wishes and hopes
• 9:00 PM: Let your lantern soar into the sky, symbolizing good fortune and new beginnings
• 9:30 PM: End of the event
  – For the package with pick-up: Transfer back to Payap University, Maya Shopping Mall or Chiang Mai Night Bazaar Area (Pantip mall intersection), based on your preferred drop-off location
  – For the package without pick-up: Please arrange your own transport to your accommodation

• Event Dates: 5-6 November 2025
• For the package that includes pick-up: Kindly meet at the entrance of Payap University PIH Student Dormitory (Map)
• For the package without pick-up: Please meet at The CAD Cultural Center Lanna Ethnicity (Map)
• Please take note that different categories of seat tickets (Standard, VIP, and Premium) include different seating locations, meal arrangements, dining areas, and souvenirs. For instance, the Premium seat ticket included luxurious central area seating
• Standard Tickets include transfers by Songthaew (red cab with roof). Premium/VIP Tickets include a transfer with an A/C van
• The drive from the city meeting point to CAD takes approximately 45 minutes
• Due to expected heavy traffic, please plan to arrive 30 to 60 minutes early if traveling to the venue on your own
• Children under 8 years old can enter free of charge, but please note that seats, souvenirs, and sky lanterns are not included

— Additional Info —

• You’re encouraged to bring a marker pen if you’d like to write your name on the lantern. It’s recommended to bring a light jacket as November nights can be cool, with temperatures around 15-20 degrees Celsius. Please remember that bringing your own lanterns is not allowed
• Participants are requested to dress in polite clothing such as pants that cover the knee or a shirt that covers the shoulder. Sleeveless tops, tank tops, cropped tops, sheer clothing, shorts, ripped jeans, leggings, and mini skirts with excessive skin exposure is not permitted. We encourage participants to wear Lanna Thai costumes at their preference
• Drone usage is strictly prohibited. Entry into the inner ceremony area for photos is not allowed
• Flammable materials, weapons, explosives, alcohol, drugs, dangerous tools, and hazardous chemicals are strictly prohibited
