Yukon Wildlife Preserve & Takhini Hot Pools

  • If you wish to join this tour, please place a separate order. The first order is for the selection of room type and traveler number. The second order is for the number of travelers for the optional tour 
  • For safety reasons, only travelers aged over 19 are eligible
  • This tour is only available from October 5 to March 31st

* The actual operating hour is subject to change due to weather. If the attraction is closed, a full refund will be provided.

  • Duration: 4 to 5 hrs 
  • Itinerary (for reference only): Depart from Whitehorse and take a 30-km ride to Yukon Wildlife Preserve. The tour guide will guide the travelers to see animals at close range (bighorn sheep, wild white goat, reindeer, American bison, muskox, moose, and more). Then, travelers will head to Takhini Hot Pools to enjoy arctic bathing

  Catch a flight from Vancouver and follow the beautiful ukon river to Whitehorse City, the capital of Yukon. After arrival, the tour guide will lead you to hotel to explain the following itinerary and take a break. Enjoy shopping and dinner around your accommodation.

  • 10:00 Start your sightseeing tour in the city to see the Log Skyscraper, Old Log Church, Miles Canyon view point, Fish Ladder and an interpretive tour of the SS Klondike.

  Relax in the afternoon or join an optional tour to Yukon Wildlife Preserve and Takhini Hot Springs (fee not included)

  Bathe in the Takhini Hot Springs (entry fee is not included)

  • Refunds or compensation will not be granted to travelers who leave the tour halfway through or miss the entire tour due to personal reasons (e.g. lack of travel documents, late arrival, sickness, accidents)

  • Please prepare a valid visa and passport with validity of more than six months
  • Travelers will view the northern lights at the same campsite every night. The campsite is spacious and travelers may walk freely
