Visit Incheon Ganghwa Island’s latest and biggest new attraction! The Huagai Garden will be temporarily opened on November 1, 2022, and officially opened on May 13, 2023. Covering an area of 213,251 square meters, it’s got around 180,000 trees, shrubs, and flowers of various kinds and five-color-themed gardens! Walk along the promenade to the Huagaishan Skywalk Observation Deck, overlooking the rice fields and the sea, and even see North Korea up close

[Qiaotong Dalongli Market]

Located on Qiaodong Island, Ganghwa-gun, the entire market exudes the feeling and characteristics times 60–70 years ago as most of them retain the original appearance of traditional buildings. It was originally built by a group of people who escaped from the war and went to Qiaotong Island. Each of them even used the characteristics of their own countryside as a decoration to relieve their homesickness. Get to see different styles of murals and wooden decorations everywhere, from the streets to the alleys. The Ganghwa County government department is still committed to preserving various signboards with a long history, which is a popular background for punching cards. Visit their old-style hair salons and snack shops where you can taste the most authentic cinnamon sugar cakes, Shuanghe tea, and twisted winter toss!
