In this in-depth park experience, your guide will illuminate the historical events that recently changed the landscape of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park forever. The experience will involve up to 2-3 miles of light hiking and walking around the park’s most dynamic terrain. You’ll also drive off-road to a private lava tube known for its bright yellow and gold microbial mats living on the cave walls, only accessible to tour’s participants.

Tour time is approximately 12 hours round trip, from Kona, 11 hours from Waikoloa, and 7 to 8 hours from Hilo.
