About this tour

  • An English- and Chinese-speaking mountain guide will accompany you on Mt. Fuji. *One guide will accompany a maximum of 14 people.
  • Stay at the popular mountain hut "Mannenyuki Sanso" at the 9th station, so there's no need to worry about making any troublesome mountain hut arrangements!
  • After descending the mountain, a bath at Gotemba Onsen is included.
  • Compared to Fujiyoshidaguchi, there are fewer climbers, so even on weekends when there are many climbers, there tends to be relatively little traffic up to the 9th station. You will pass people descending from the summit or those climbing the next day at the bottom of the trail where the trail is wider, so it is not as stressful.

The content of this product is provided by machine translation and may not reflect the actual information, please take this into consideration before booking.

Mount Fuji is a symbol of Japan, and as the highest mountain in Japan, with an elevation of 3,776 meters, it attracts many climbers from both within Japan and overseas. In 2013, it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, further increasing its appeal. The Fujinomiya Route starts from the fifth station at an elevation of about 2,400 meters, making it the closest starting point of the four main routes to the summit. It is also the closest climbing route to Mount Fuji's highest point, Kengamine (3,776 meters).
After arriving at the Fujinomiya 5th Station, you will meet up with a mountain guide who can speak English or Chinese and will accompany you on the tour to support you in a safe and secure climb. After taking a break along the way, you will head to the mountain hut at the 9th Station, where you will have a nap, and then depart again in the middle of the night.

The view of the sunrise from the summit is so spectacular that it will leave you speechless! It will be an unforgettable and moving moment in your life. (*Please note that you may not be able to reach the summit depending on the weather or crowding.)
Afterwards, you will descend safely under the guidance of a dedicated Mount Fuji guide.

[Regarding whether the event will be held or not]

  • If we do not receive your reservation by the 21st day of your departure date, the tour may be cancelled.

[Notes on climbing Fuji]

  • Both the Yoshida and Fujinomiya routes require a toll (mountain entrance fee) of 4,000 yen per person per trip (cash only at the entrance to the 5th station on the day).
  • All tours will be held rain or shine. However, in the case of bad weather or heavy rain due to a typhoon, we may contact you in advance to cancel the tour. Please note that if the weather suddenly changes on the day, the local guide or the Mt. Fuji Guidance Center may decide to cancel the climb. In this case, there will be no refund of the tour fee.
  • The weather on Mt. Fuji is very changeable, so rain gear is essential. If you do not have the necessary equipment, you may be asked to withdraw from the climb. In this case, there will be no refund.
  • If you abandon the climb midway due to poor physical condition or otherwise choose to stay or rest at a mountain hut other than the one you planned to stay at on the day, you will be responsible for the accommodation and rest fees, and there will be no refund of the tour fare. In addition, you will have to descend the mountain by yourself, and a guide will not accompany you.

Both the Yoshida Trail and the Fujinomiya Trail are at an altitude of over 2,000m. During the climb, the air is thin and there is a risk of altitude sickness, so please be sure to take care of your health on the day of departure to avoid lack of sleep and a hangover.

  • Depending on the weather and the schedule, you may not be able to see the sunrise. Also, during peak seasons, you may not be able to reach the summit due to congestion on the mountain trail.
  • The walking time for the course is only a guideline and may change significantly depending on the climbing conditions.
  • Guided tours are conducted with the aim of minimizing risk. Even with a guided tour, you are still responsible for your own safety.
  • For the safety of our customers during the climb, the instructions of the guide are absolute. The guide will check the climbing equipment, and if there are any defects in the equipment, if you do not follow the guide's instructions, or if the guide judges you to be in poor health or lacking in physical strength, the guide may, at his/her discretion, force you to retire or leave the group for safety reasons. In such cases, there will be no refunds or other compensation.
  • If there are any shortages or deficiencies in your equipment, your mountain guide or local staff may ask you to rent or purchase the necessary equipment.
  • There are forks in the trail on each route (Yoshida, Fujinomiya) on the way down. If you make a mistake and go down the wrong way, you will have to rejoin the tour or return home at your own expense. Even if you rejoin the tour on the way, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to continue the tour. Please be careful.

[About cancellation]

  • If the tour is cancelled due to customer's decision to cancel (change) the cancellation (change) fee will not be refunded.
