—Tips for climbing—

  • The return bus may be changed and luggage cannot be stored on the bus. If you need to store your luggage, you can store it at the 5th station (五合園レストハウス). The storage fee is at your own expense (S size locker 500 yen, M size locker 1000 yen, L size locker 2000 yen). If the locker is full, you may not be able to store your luggage. This trip is a mountain climbing trip, so please store large luggage in advance in the city.

Itinerary

  • 07:10 Meet at Shinjuku Station West Exit, Kogakuin University (Please arrive on time if you are late.)

<span class='tour-time'><strong>09:30</strong></span>  Mount Fuji 5th Station: The closest distance to the top of the mountain, you can feel the majestic beauty of Mount Fuji (you can have lunch here, prepare your climbing equipment, etc., and start climbing after about 1 hour of free time)

  5th Station → 8th Station of Mt. Fuji designated mountain hut (about 7-8 hours) Hiking with a professional mountain guide

  Rest in the mountain hut (dinner is a simple meal of curry meat pie, if you have special requirements, please prepare your own dinner)

  Eighth Station Kamiedoya → Eighth Station Five Scoops → Mt. Fuji (Goraiko) → Down the mountain → Fifth Station (about 7 to 9 hours, departure and arrival time at the Fifth Station depends on the situation on the day, return to the Fifth Station around 10:30 am the next day)

  Go down the mountain and arrive at the 5th station (depending on the weather, arrive at about 10:30), and start the return trip (the departure time of the return bus will be notified by the leader/guide after you go down the mountain and arrive at the 5th station)

  Go to a hot spring facility near Lake Kawaguchi or Lake Yamanaka to wash away the fatigue of climbing and soak in a hot spring (about 2 hours, including hot spring bathing fees, lunch is at your own expense)

  • The guide has the right to terminate the hike due to physical or health reasons. In such cases, you will need to leave the group as per stipulated procedures. When leaving the group, expenses incurred from staying at non-designated accommodation facilities, resting or returning will be incurred by you. When descending, the guide will not accompany you.
